So, what is a maintenance plan and how do you decide if it’s the right fit for you?

What is an HVAC Maintenance Plan?
Also often called “Service Plans”, Maintenance Plans are meant to relieve you of the stress of system upkeep by pre-scheduling regular cleanings and maintenance and discounting any repairs necessary. The details of each plan are specific to the type of HVAC system you own but generally include at least one annual preventive maintenance service and cleaning. These maintenances are meant to find and identify any current issues before they escalate and prevent future issues from arising.
In addition to annual or biannual maintenance, as a member of a Jay Moody HVAC’s Maintenance Plan you are offered top priority scheduling and exclusive access to our Winter Emergency Hours services!
In the case that any additional repairs or time is needed, members of our Maintenance Plans will also receive a discount of 15% on our traditional, flat-rate pricing. As if that’s not enough, we offer a $100 credit towards a new system for every year you renew your plan and offer %15 off related electrical work!

Why Get an HVAC Maintenance Plan?
Now that we’ve discussed what a maintenance agreement is and what systems it’s best for, let’s talk a bit more in-depth about why we recommend this method of HVAC home maintenance and how to decide if it’s the best choice for you.
Before really being able to understand the benefit of a service plan it’s important to understand the importance of Preventive Maintenance services that are included in these plans.
Preventive Maintenances, as the name suggests, are service appointments that focus on cleaning and inspecting a system to prevent escalated issues and save money in the long run.

The price and stress of emergency repairs often add up to be much more than the investment made in consistent preventive maintenance, even if an issue is found.
We recommend maintenance plans because they do several things for our customers:
Maintenance Plans streamline the process of remembering and scheduling your yearly cleanings. When you maintenance plan customer, we reach out to you in advance to ensure your system is ready to run for the upcoming season, whether it be the hot summer or cold winter.
The monthly payment plan offered with our service agreements also helps to break up costs throughout the year, while providing reduced pricing on certain additional services.
A set number of preventive maintenance services are included in each Maintenance Plan and additional discounts are taken off most other pricing. This means that in the event your system needs repair or replacement, your service plan provides discounted pricing on non-included services and emergency calls.
Save time, money, and stress by choosing a preventative approach to maintenance.
