The Mass Save HEAT Loan is a zero-interest, 7-year loan of up to $50,000. This loan can be used to finance your whole-home heat pump installation as well as any necessary weatherization.

Does my home qualify for the Mass Save program?
To qualify for the Mass Save program you must live in Massachusetts and be a customer of one of the following participating electric utility companies:

Municipal electric customers can participate in the Mass Save program if their home is heated with natural gas, provided by a Mass Save Program Sponsor listed above.
When do I receive my rebate?
Mass Save offers mail-in rebates for qualifying heat pump installations. Once your installation is completed and paid in full, you must submit a rebate application to Mass Save. Upon approval, Mass Save will mail your rebate check directly to your home.
Mass Save is projected to distribute rebates within 10–12 weeks of the rebate application being approved.
What steps do I need to take to use Mass Save?
To qualify for Mass Save you must have had a home energy assessment in the past two years, use a certified Mass Save installer and let us assist you in filing the necessary paperwork!

Yes, as a member of Mass Save’s Heat Pump Installer Network (HPIN), Jay Moody HVAC can install Mass Save qualifying systems.
In order to qualify for Mass Save rebates, your system must be installed by a member of the HPIN.

IRA Federal Tax Credit
The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is a significant investment by the US government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The act aims to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, while promoting the use of energy-efficient, all-electric appliances in US households.
As part of the IRA, residents installing heat pump systems may qualify for up to $2,000 in federal tax credits!

Heat pump systems with a thermal efficiency rating of at least 75% qualify for a federal credit of up to $2,000 per year!
The tax credit resets every year, so households may claim the credit annually on any installations completed during each tax year.
